Company History

Established in 1985 by Charles Johnson, TCL Group has over 25 years experience of working successfully within the Public Sector.

TCL Group became a partnership around 16 years ago when Steve Purdy joined the Company and, following the successful expansion and reorganisation, we achieved Limited Company status in 1995. There are two Directors, Steve Purdy (Managing Director) and Charles Johnson (Director) with overall responsibility for the management of the Company, supported by the senior management team.

TCL Group has implemented a programme of planned and steady growth which has allowed us to operate Regionally within London and the South East and nationally including Scotland, the East of England, the Midlands and the South West.

TCL Group offers an increasingly comprehensive range of services to meet every type of construction need from responsive maintenance, planned maintenance through to the delivery of major refurbishments to all types of buildings.

The company is divided into three main sections consisting of Major Works, Repairs and Planned Maintenance and Voids. Each section specialises in its own field.

Staff have been handpicked for their expertise within the field that they work, continual performance development, ensure that all staff maintains a Professional approach, and are able to deliver excellent customer focused services for our clients.
