TCL CARRIES OUT ESSENTIAL WORKS TO ENABLE GREENWICH TO SUPPORT CUSTOMERS AND RESIDENTS ACROSS THE BOROUGH
As part of our commitment to providing a first-class service as the Building Fabric Repairs & Maintenance contractor, we have recently undertaken a number of essential works to enable Greenwich to continue to deliver support services to their customers/residents across the borough.
The Woolwich Centre – Staff Protection Screens
In order to protect customer facing staff and visitors, TCL were asked to design, manufacture and install safety glass screens with décor panels to the main reception in the Woolwich Centre. From initial design through to installation the whole process took 5 days and now enables staff and visitors to interact in line with the current Covid-19 requirements.

Woolwich Foot Tunnel – South Tower Roof Works
The foot tunnel running from Old Woolwich in Greenwich to North Woolwich in Newham provides an essential pedestrian and cycle link for Londoners served at each end by a Grade II listed building containing the lift shaft and staircase.
In order for the tunnel to remain open and provide a ‘social distancing’ compliant and free means of traversing the River Thames we have recently undertaken major re-roofing works to the South Tower incorporating a new domed structure finished with a high performance Icopal Thermaweld Copper Faced Verral felt with all laps and beads treated with Copper paint.
Essential Cleaning Services
In addition to ‘one-off’ projects we are also providing Environmental Cleaning and Pest Control Cleaning and Netting to the corporate property estate to maintain high cleanliness standards across the borough.
