TCL Celebrates another Successful Apprentice

TCL Group has always encouraged apprenticeships on its long term projects. Apprenticeships are a great way to harness new talent into the industry as well as giving people a chance to learn new skills.

Joe Kelly, pictured below, is one of the latest success stories. Joe was taken on to work on an external redecoration programme that TCL Group carried out for Chelmer Housing Partnership. Chelmer was keen for us to employ a local person, train them over the contract period and, hopefully, secure a long term position with TCL Group.

Joe did not disappoint and proved to be an outstanding apprentice. Having completed his course, he is now an integral part of TCL Group’s painting team.

Joe is pictured here with Stuart Willis from Chelmer Housing Partnership and Steve Purdy, Chairman of TCL Group.

Steve commented that Joe has been a star pupil who has been recognised for his high quality workmanship by both the client and by his supervisors.
