The Coach House

TCL Group has recently completed the external refurbishment of the Grade II listed Coach House located within the grounds of Acacia Hall within the Dartford town centre conservation area.

Appointed by Dartford Borough Council via their public procurement process, the works entailed the complete external repair and redecoration of the Coach House whilst maintaining the original features and appearance of the building in strict compliance with English Heritage and the Dartford Conservation Officer.

Key elements of the contract included the renewal of box sash windows, new Accoya timber doors, the renovation of all cast iron rainwater goods, brick repairs using Kentish Gaunt imperial clay bricks and the refurbishment of the slate roof and leadwork.

The clock restoration and refurbishment of the clock tower provides a focal point to the Coach House as it begins a new phase in its history within the centre of Dartford.
